Feminine Energy

One thing I know now is that the cycle of a woman’s personality, even the most grounded ones, goes like this.
One day you are fiercely independent. Confident that the world is at your mercy because you are brilliant and gorgeous. Money is your Bitch.
Then you start slowly, humbling yourself and just being grateful really for the privileges and opportunities you have because of your qualities. You appreciate your friends a little bit more and when you take a walk you look at the blue sky and marshmallow clouds. It’s so peaceful.
As chance would have it, usually a person of interest walks into view at this time, or suddenly appears out of thin air, rather. Has that guy always worked in your office? I think that waiter keeps looking over at me. I’m pretty sure he gave us a discount.
Delusion ensues.
Sometimes the situation is on your side and things can happen. You start a conversation, he flirts back and now you’re fantasizing a summer holiday to Italy… next week.
Usually though, you wonder why the guy who made your coffee for the past three days hasn’t made his move. You get nervous, a little self-conscious and impatient.
You call your best friend and decide to go to happy hour.
You’re angry now and both agree that no man deserves you. In fact, you make a pact to avoid men for at least a month.
You’ve awoken from your haze a little hungover but eager to work on yourself and your passions. You pick yourself out of bed, take a shower and go to the kitchen to make breakfast.
Cracking open eggs into a hot pan and making toast, you begin to remember just how amazing you are.
Now all you need is a hot cup of coffee and you will be able to take on anything.
“Shit! I’m all out of coffee.”
This is enough to bring you to tears.
You drop to the kitchen floor and the world crumbles around you.
Being a woman isn’t easy but one thing is guaranteed. She will have a good laugh and get back up stronger than before.
